Ok I usually avoid making two journal post close together but I just had to make a journal about this sick and depraved person--->www.abc3340.com/story/18636334…MONTEVALLO - AL -
A Calera Veterinarian says it's the worst thing she's seen in 15 years. A family made a tough decision to euthanize their pug after the vet told them someone skinned their dog alive.
When Delana Dunnaway woke up Friday morning, she knew something was wrong! "I see them running to the back of the property and they're all standing there barking and I look down and I don't see Bama. He's always sitting beside me every morning."
The little pug was last seen around 5:15 when her husband left for work and within a few hours of searching, a family member found Bama in the woods behind Dunnaway's house. "When he walked up on him, at first he thought it was something another animal had drug up and said, this can't be possible." She says Bama was found with no skin and took him to the Calera Animal Clinic.
Doctor Rhonda Ellison says someone skinned the dog alive as there were distinct straight edge cuts on the skin. "The skin was completely off his back and off side of his flanks and from his neck to his legs, so completely skinned, someone intentionally did it."
Dunnaway says "Every time I'd touch him, he was wagging his tail at me and it hurt my feelings even worse to know someone could do that to a live animal in your yard."
Dunnaway doesn't know who would go on her property. She lives in a nestled community in Montevallo off a main road. The Chilton County Sheriff's Office is now investigating the case. Meanwhile, she's let neighbors know about the situation to protect their pets. " I hope and pray nobody ever has to see an animal like that, especially a loved pet in that condition and shape and I don't want to see anyone else hurt."
If you have read this then I hope you feel as disturbed and disgusted as I do;because I couldn't imagine waking up and find that someone had not only skinned my pet but did so while it was still alive and left it alive and in extreme pain, and then I have to watch my pet suffer as I take it to the vet's office before having it "put down" in a painless way. That is just plain inhuman
